FAQ

Clear answers before South Carolina’s program is active.

These answers are educational and operational only. They do not create legal access, a patient relationship, or guaranteed doctor certification.

Is medical cannabis legal in South Carolina right now?

South Carolina does not currently have an active medical cannabis card program. MMDOCSC.COM provides education, readiness updates, and secure routing if and when the state program becomes active.

Can MMDOCSC guarantee that I will be certified?

No. Doctor certification is not guaranteed. A licensed physician must review the applicable requirements, clinical appropriateness, risks, and final South Carolina rules before any certification decision.

Where do forms, records, consent, and scheduling happen?

Sensitive intake, consent, document upload, scheduling, and patient portal activity happen inside IntakeQ. MMDOCSC.COM is a branded guidance layer and does not collect or store PHI on this site.

Why is pricing listed as TBD?

Final pricing depends on South Carolina's active program rules, evaluation requirements, renewal rules, and any state or registry fees. We will publish transparent pricing when those rules are finalized.

Should I submit medical details through the readiness list?

No. The readiness list is for non-PHI contact and program-update preferences only. Do not enter diagnoses, symptoms, records, medication details, or other medical information there.

What can I do now?

You can follow law updates, review education materials, and prepare a general list of records you may request from your providers later. Uploads should only happen inside the secure IntakeQ experience when available.
